[Illustrations, footnotes and references available in PDF version] In December 2007, New Hampshire Governor John Lynch signed an Executive Order calling for the establishment of a “Task Force to develop a Climate Change Action Plan” for the state of New Hampshire. The Task Force’s Climate Action Plan is due to the governor by September 1, 2008 and is to include a recommendation of “quantified goals for reductions of [New Hampshire’s] greenhouse gases” as well as “specific regulatory, voluntary and policy actions” that the state should consider to achieve the emissions reductions goals.
